Getting users to request mobile advertising is the way ahead, says Alain Sanchez, CMO for EMEA, at Alcatel-Lucent. He thinks that opt-in mobile advertising will result in a huge increase in efficiency benefiting both advertisers and users. Instead of ads getting a fraction of one per cent response rate, they can get response rates of up to 1000 better times better, he says.
